Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler June 28, 1986. Pickler had a difficult childhood. As a young girl, her mother ran away to avoid an abusive situation. Pickler was reunited with her mom in the year 1995, when she assumed custody. However it did not take place as expected. Pickler was then 12 years old and was returned to her parents by court. They raised her until she turned an adult. Pickler had to be busy with her younger siblings in the absence of their parents. Pickler admitted that she no longer had time to learn and she began to understand how to be a homemaker at a young age. Pickler took part in cheerleading squads of both her high school and middle school. She graduated in 2004 from North Stanly High School. Pickler is also a contestant in a beauty pageant.
