Annie Mist Thorisdottir from Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit Athlete. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the sole woman in history to have won in the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she placed second. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter athlete as well as a media star. She was the first woman to be awarded in the CrossFit Games in 2011, as well as 2012, and twice. Her other achievements include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie was born in Iceland's Reykjavik area along with her parents and siblings. In her early years, she was always a lover of exercise and sports. She participated in many school events and earned several medals. Her first competition was CrossFit in California in the year 2009. Her performance was good at her very first games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 by 2021. She's 5' 7 and weighs around 67kg. Annie began CrossFit in California, in 2009. Annie did very well in the initial competitions and was in the top 10 out of 70. However, she didn't win a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. That same year, with Jami's guidance, she took home the silver medal in the CrossFit Games. In the following year she participated again in CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the contest becoming the first woman to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie again won in the CrossFit Games because of her exceptional performance and was the first female athlete to win two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, she was awarded a medal of silver in 2014 and the bronze medal at CrossFit Games in 2021. Annie currently coaches and trains Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was started by Annie. Annie, who is gaining fame for her athletic abilities is featured in ads for sports products such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs as well as many more. Additionally, she has a self-titled Youtube channel with a few thousand subscribers where her training video clips, diet and travel vlogs are shared.
