Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil is an American actress, best known in her role of Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy drama series "The Magicians" (2015-present). She had previously gained recognition as the character of an American girl aged 13 years old, Jasira Maroun. She is subject to tumultuous personal experiences in the context of the U.S. invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film "Towelhead". In the following year, she was selected as one of 'Variety's 10 Actors to Watch' back in 2007. The role she played was a defining one, Taslima Jahangir, in the 2009 film 'Crossing Over', a crime-drama "Crossing Over," where she was nominated in the 'Independent Spirit Awards for the Best Female Leading category. Apart from starring in several films, including Mooz-lum, The Last Airbender, Pop Star and ?Under the Silver Lake, she's also appeared as a guest in several television series and played recurring roles in various different films.
